Story

Thursday 21st March is World Down Syndrome Awareness Day (WDSD)!!

Every year WDSD falls on 21/03, this represents the 3 copies of chromosome 21 which is what people with Down Syndrome have.

This year we would love to raise a little bit of awareness on the Isle of Man and for you to like our page and have some fun. and on Thursday 21st bring out your best, brightest and down right awful odd socks and wear them with pride! Its a great conversation starter and when someone asks you why youre wearing odd socks you can say its to raise awareness for DS.

Why socks? Well, no matter what it looks like its purpose is the same! No matter the appearance, colour or pattern it keeps your tootsies warm! Essentially more alike than different

We would love for you to upload your pictures of your socks to our Facebook page in support https://m.facebook.com/DownSyndromeAwarenessIOM/ so come on guys and get Down with us next week and rock your socks!!!!!!

For those of you who wish to fundraise alobgside raising awesome awareness, All monies raised in support of this years fundraising activities will be used to support our range of members in a number of areas.
