Visit the charity's profileTo celebrate the 1900 years of Hadrian's Wall, 20 Rotary Clubs in the North of England joined together to walk the 84 miles of Hadrian's Wall in 3 hours on the 22nd April 2023. The 27 teams from the 20 clubs each walked their section of the wall starting at 10am and all had finished by 13.19 in just over the 3 hours. The Rotarians were joined by friends and family and 5 Ukrainian refugees giving a total of over 120 walkers aged from 7 to 86 years.
The money collected will be divided among the clubs taking part for them to use for their particular charities. We already know this will include Ukrainian Refugees, the fight against Polio, the Turkish Earthquake victims, local Hospices and many other good causes. Please help us reach our target of £30,000.
