We are a service supporting people across West Yorkshire who have sustained any type of Brain Injury. We also provide support and advice to their families.
The types of help we can provide includes carers advice, advocacy, signposting and so much more! This is a free to access service funded by the National Lottery.
The Caseworker Team work closely with people to identify their needs and goals. We will then liaise and coordinate with a wide range of organisations to help people to access that support.
Some examples of the support provided up to now has included, providing equipment such as whiteboards and diaries to aid memory techniques; providing information and support around effects of Brain Injury i.e.: fatigue, short term memory issues, organisation, linking into rehabilitation, emotional and practical support, family support, help to access statutory services where appropriate, support to link into advice and advocacy services for help with benefits/legal issues, early intervention support during transition from hospital or rehabilitation settings and providing consistent face-to-face support.
Our support is consistent and is for as long as it is needed.
PLEASE DONATE and help us to continue to make a difference!
