Story
At Stoke Park we are committed to supporting our pupils and families however we can. One way that we want to do this is by ensuring that everyone has equal access to remote learning during this current lockdown and beyond. We know that for some families they have no access to IT equipment or internet or are using one device between several children which makes remote learning challenging. We are currently working with our families to provide devices to those who need them but are relying on donations from the public and using our existing school IT equipment, and the need is greater than we can support currently.
To help raise funds for IT devices, the school community will be dusting off their running shoes and taking part in a Marathon Month during February. We will all be running or walking the equivalent of a marathon across the month and recording our miles and sharing our successes on our social media pages. We hope this will also have a positive impact on our wellbeing during this challenging time.
Any donations will be gratefully received and will have an immediate impact on our pupils and reduce the learning gap for those without access to quality remote learning.
Many Thanks
