Salford Red Devils Foundations mini bus was stolen from the AJ Bell Stadium. CCTV footage from 12:20pm on Wednesday 15th May 2019 captures the bus, which has the registration number YR13 GKC, exiting the car park at speed.

The foundation bus is used to facilitate health, sport and educational programmes throughout the community, as well as transporting equipment including wheelchairs for our PDRL and LDRL programmes. Salford Red Devils Foundation place significant importance on these interactions with organisations in the local area and are therefore hugely disappointed by this incident which will have a detrimental effect upon community delivery.

Although the vehicle is insured, it is a leased vehicle so any compensation will go directly to the lease company. Unfortunately there will be no curtesy vehicle and Salford Red Devils Foundation are still contracted to pay the monthly rental for the vehicle that has been stolen until the insurance claim is completed. This appeal is to help with immediate cost to try and hire a vehicle for day to day usage and to ultimately enable Salford Red Devils Foundation to purchase their own minibus on hire purchase.
