Can you help us fund Sandy's leg amputation vet bill?

Sandy has recently had to undergo leg amputation surgery at our branch. The bill has come to £1320 for the surgery itself and treatment afterwards. Any support to help go towards the bill would be absolutely brilliant.

Story

Please meet Sandy the wonderful Sandy

As you can see, Sandy has recently undergone major surgery where she needed her leg amputating. Poor Sandy came into our care after she was found by a member of the public as a stray. It quickly became evident that Sandy had broken her leg after possibly being hit by a car so she needed to undergo surgery to make her better again. She had her operation and then came into our care once she had recovered. Unfortunately, as time went on Sandy started to limp again on her leg and after more consultations and x-rays, the vets discovered the leg had re-broken and the best and only option was to amputate it fully. Because of her breed type, her bones are a lot more delicate as there was a very high chance of the same reoccurring if the operation was repeated to mend her leg.

Sandy had her operation last week and is doing really well with her recovery (see photos below). However, her treatment and surgery has cost the branch a lot of money at an already extremely difficult time. The total cost of Sandys vet bill has landed and comes to £1320, which includes the surgery itself and then the treatment afterwards so we are asking to see if anyone would be willing to donate towards her bill. We understand its a really difficult time for everyone at the moment, so if you arent able to donate, but you can share this post to reach more people that would be just as helpful.

Despite the ordeal Sandy has gone through in the last couple of months, she is recovering really well and still manages to show her bright and bubbly personality!

Please note, Sandy has had a lot of interest and is waiting to meet a family with a view to adopting her when she has recovered, so we are not accepting anymore applications for her at the moment.

Thank you everyone for your support.
