We're very pleased to announce that we have managed to secure funding for our Outreach Team up until the end of March 2019. This is due to the kind support of our community and really getting our campaign out there! With your funds, and some newly committed funds from Taunton Deane, our service can continue until April 2019.

From April 2019, the funds are still unclear, so we are leaving our campaign open in order to ask for your support for the future of the service. To give you some insight into what we're campaigning for, the text has been left below -

Our Outreach Team provide a critical service for rough sleepers in our local community. The team do early morning outreach, searching for any rough sleepers and homeless in need. They also base themselves at drop in centres for the homeless, to ensure that anyone that needs their support can reach them. They ensure that these individuals are safe, well and can access the services they need, such as accommodation. They have a no second night out policy, meaning they'll get rough sleepers into accommodation so they don't have to spend long suffering on the streets.

Thanks to you, we now have secure funding for this service up until March 2019. From there, it is unclear and uncertain. What we do know is that this service must remain in order to support rough sleepers and ensure they are referred to support services and accommodation as quickly as possible.
