Story

The dedicated team at the Skegness Hospital Scarbrough Ward are planning a series of fundraising events to raise money for a memory tree, special keepsake boxes for relatives who've lost loved ones, and pocket hugs to show compassion and kindness at such difficult times.

They're planning to start with a 12-hour silent disco dance-a-thon in the day room at the ward on Friday 3rd March which will involve 24 members of staff dancing in pairs using headphones to keep the music discreet. Each pair will dance for an hour at a time which will result in a total combined dance time of 24 hours!

Please support this important appeal that will make a different to so many patients and relatives in the care of the Scarbrough Ward!
