At the Elmwood & Penrose Federation, we are currently working hard to plan our new school build that will open in January 2021. We will then be known as Polden Bower School.

As part of our planned move, we need to raise vital funds to make sure that we have the right resources and equipment to meet our pupils additional needs. The money raised as part of this appeal will go towards inclusive outdoor play spaces to enable our pupils to reach their full potential whilst developing their fine and gross motor skills.

The sensory play spaces will have many exciting features including:

· Outdoor musical instruments

· A sensory tunnel

· A fully accessible outdoor classroom

· A fully accessible and inclusive Swing Zone.

We are hoping to raise £56,000. This target can only be achieved with the help and support of our school and local community. Some of the ways in which we will be raising much needed funds include:

· Asking local businesses to make us their charity of the year.

· Asking community organisations to hold an In aid of Elmwood & Penrose Sensory Play Appeal event.

· Corporate partnerships

· Sponsored events

· Collection tins

· One-off donations

· Gifts in kind

· PTFA events
