Sophie's 20th Birthday Triathlon Challenge

In honour of my brother who was killed age 20 in a cycling accident as I myself am turning 20 this week I will be completing a sprint triathlon to raise both awareness and money for the Will Houghton foundations and the many causes it supports.

Will Houghton (24.07.95 – 29.01.16) was an intelligent, loving, inquisitive and motivated man with a love of family, the outdoors, sea and cycling. At the very heart of his foundation is the wish to keep his shining spirit alive and inspire a new generation of young people to be their very best.

Story

My brother Will was killed in a tragic accident while riding his bike in January 2016 aged just 20. Motivated and confident, Will had a passion for life and his belief that we should all strive to be the very best version of ourselves was infectious.

As I am turning 20, I am taking a different approach to celebrating my birthday this year. Im swapping cards and presents for sponsorship for a Sprint Marathon - 750m swim; 20 km bike (ugh!) and 5 km run - in aid of the Will Houghton Foundation.

The date is not set yet Covid is playing havoc with planned races but if you feel the need to give me a present you can sponsor me !!!

Any donations is GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks so much, Soph xx
