Soundabout unlocks the world of music for even the most disabled children and adults, bringing the magic of sound, noise and laughter into their lives through musical activities that help to stimulate communication, physical movement, learning and self-expression.

Children with profound learning disabilities face a world of exclusion. Soundabout works to break down these barriers and ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate, learn and develop through music.

Our techniques enable people with profound learning disabilities who may face barriers to music making, make a positive contribution to music making, develop their ability to relate to others and interact with the world around them.

You could enable Soundabout to make this happen by supporting our Soundabout Christmas Appeal 2019.

We are aiming to raise £8,000 which would enable Soundabout to resource and run twenty interactive music making sessions for groups of children and young adults with profound learning disabilities and their families in 2020.
