Story

The Harvest Service this year will be evensong on Sunday 26th September at 6pm. All are welcome. We shall be collecting donations for the Corsham Food Bank so please bring your donations of tins and dry food (pasta, rice etc) to the service or if you prefer leave at the church on Saturday morning so it can be incorporated in the church decorating around the altar.

The service will be followed by a small Harvest Supper in the church. Each supper will be individually prepared and plated (and covered) in a Covid secure way. If you would like to join us please book your place with the churchwarden Sandy Fletcher 01249 715006 or email bookings@gastardchurch.org.uk so that she can prepare the plates in advance.

To cover costs we are asking for a donation of £5 or more for each supper booked. You can make your donation through this JustGiving page, or else pay Sandy directly.

During the service we are asking that the congregation wear masks. If you are unable to join us for the supper (or indeed the service), or do not yet feel comfortable to stay and join in this type of social event after covid, then please consider donating the cost you would usually spend on the supper directly to church funds this year, as we did in 2020. (you will have the option to also declare your donation as gift aid so we are able to claim a 25% tax refund from HMRC on your donation).
