We are so incredibly lucky to be one of the only primary schools still to have its own swimming pool. This means the children do not need to travel to Exmouth to swim which gains us so much valuable teaching time. Despite a small amount of swimming being part of the curriculum, we are able to provide all of the children in every year at least two terms of swimming per year which is invaluable.

However, the pool is in need of constant maintenance and we have not been able to hire it out as much as usual this year due to the covid pandemic which means we have a shortfall this year.

We would love to raise enough to replace the cpver and the mechanism. Without a cover, we can not maintain the temperature to use the pool which means we can not allow the children to continue with lessons
