Approximately 150,000 people in Ireland are living with a brain injury today.
You can begin the new year in a great way that will not only be good for your own physical and mental health but will benefit brain injury survivors as you raise funds for Acquired Brain Injury Ireland.
Record your steps on your smartphone by downloading a free step recording pedometer app or record your steps on your smartwatch or Fitbit.
If you don't have a smartwatch and want to use your phone to record your steps you should install a pedometer app for Android or Apple.

Start 2023 by getting out for a walk every day. Go by yourself, go with the family, go with friends, go with the dog - just get going!
You can also record your steps indoors even just walking around your house or going up and down stairs. You might be surprised by how many steps you take if you are at work or at home.
Just get the steps whenever and wherever you can!
We are asking everyone who participates to start by setting your target at €150. If you reach this target, you can review and increase it.
