Story

Your support helps us to purchase equipment, improve the environment and deliver even better care to premature and sick babies in Brighton, Hove and Mid Sussex. The neonatal service provides care to babies who require extra care such as help with developing, eating, or breathing.

During such a difficult time, it's important to make sure families feel as comfortable and supported as possible. Knowing that contributions to the TMBU Fund advance the care provided to the precious babies on the unit helps with this. Specifically, donations are used to purchase state-of-the-art equipment, fund environmental upgrades, support advanced training for staff, and invest in innovative research to keep up-to-date in diagnostic and treatment developments.

Because of previous generous contributions, the TMBU Fund has been able to provide breast pumps for new mums to express and feed their little ones, advance training for the frontline team to learn the newest developments in care, and create environmental upgrades to the unit which allows new parents to spend much-needed time close to their babies.

The Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU) is located on Level 14 in the Thomas Kemp Tower Block at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. Donations will be receipted to Fund #0085009.
