We are Temple Guiting Church of England School nestled in the beautiful Cotswold countryside. We are privileged to be located within the beautiful village of Temple Guiting since 1872 and have some of the most amazing rural views and surroundings. Our unique setting is just one of the ways our school is so special and so highly valued by our pupils, parents and the local community.
The school is currently comprised of three buildings; the original Victorian school room and two Elliot buildings at the rear of the site erected in 1982. These Elliot buildings have a lifespan of 20 - 25 years, however we have now been using these temporary buildings for almost 40 years!
Over the last few years, we have been working towards funding a replacement of these Elliot buildings as they are leaking and are no longer fit for purpose. We are now in a position to propose a full rebuild of the Key Stage 1 classrooms and school offices.
But, we need your help.
Our current estimates show that the whole project cost is around £520,000. We have some money committed from Gloucestershire County Council and some we have saved over the last few years.
We now have until July 1st 2022 to raise the remaining £200,000.
We want an environment that is fitting to teach our outstanding pupils for many years to come. In the last externally validated exams, we were in the top 1% in England for reading and maths. And we are in the top 10% of the country overall for all subjects.
Temple Guiting Church of England Primary School would appreciate anything you can afford to give.
