The Big Row celebrates inclusive rowing initiatives across the UK, led by clubs, schools and organisations. In July 2021 we had our launch event that raised a staggering £30,000 with communities up and down the country coming together and as one giant Big Row crew. We would love to raise even more this year!
Row Around The World in 30 Days
This year - as a group we aim to collectively row the circumference of the world - 40,075km while raising funds to open up our sport to be more accessible to all. We are inviting all rowers across the country to take part from their club, school, university, gym or at home, on water or on a rowing machine. We have a month of Big Row activities you can join and a live leaderboard too for all the competitive types!
Your donation here will go towards the total amount raised from the Zoom Ergos team.
If you want to support further, you can log your distance and contribute your miles to the fundraiser to race against other individuals and clubs, please sign up here. You can sign up as an individual and choose to join the Zoom Ergos team or sign up your club team.
The funds from the Big Row will go towards introducing rowing to people currently underrepresented in the sport. This could be a state school project for children in communities who could benefit most, or a community initiative to encourage people with disabilities to try rowing, or funding adaptive equipment that means someone can row that otherwise would not have the opportunity to do so.
We have a huge opportunity to grow our sport which is really exciting.
Thank you so much for all your support so far.
