Whether you move, bake, give something up, read, or nominate, get inventive with the number 50 and help us raise some much needed funds in support of local young people and their families living with cancer!
Story
Well, here we are, back in lockdown! We had hoped to bring back our Winter Woolly Walk to cheer you all up over the winter months, but we decided to postpone this campaign when the restrictions around gatherings and leaving the house were tightened. We are disappointed but it is the responsibility of all of us to stay at home as much as we can, protect the NHS and save lives.
The team at Cancer Fund for Children have guesstimated that we are looking at approximately 50 days of lockdown and we have been trying to think of ways to keep people fundraising for us but also trying to bring a bit of fun into the gloom. So, we have created The Fun 50!!
We want you to take the number 50 and do whatever you want with it!! Are you into walking or running? Okay, try and complete 50 miles by the end of February! Maybe baking is more your thing so get the oven on and make 50 cupcakes for friends and family! Why not set yourself the goal of 50 minutes of self care every night maybe 50 minutes of digital detoxing before bed, 50 minutes of yoga or even 50 minutes in a hot bubble bath! Or if you are feeling really brave, give up something you love like chocolate or crisps for 50 days.

We want you to have fun and use it as a tool to stay connected with friends and boost wellbeing but, ultimately, we need you to fundraise as well.
Unfortunately, even with rising Covid 19 levels, cancer continues to devastate families across Northern Ireland. As an organisation, we are doing our best to continue to offer support and services to these families but we cannot do this without your help!
