Story

Malawi has experienced countless difficulties, especially in the past year, including rising inflation, fuel and forex shortages, and a cholera outbreak. Now, this resilient nation is facing another crisis due to the impact of Cyclone Freddy, which has already claimed the lives of 99 people (in Malawi).

With each rainfall, the risk of flash floods and destruction of homes is increased, putting more lives at risk. According to the World Meterological Organisation, Cyclone Freddy is close to breaking records as the longest lasting tropical cyclone, which sadly will mean prolonged danger of displacement, injury and fatalities.

The Sparkle Foundation are working with other organisations to coordinate and provide emergency relief to communities in Malawi who have been affected by the relentless cyclone. All of the money raised for this campaign will go towards helping operations on the ground in Malawi. Please donate and give hope and support to those in need.

Thank you.
