The Story
Malahide to Sligo Cycle Challenge 2022 in aid of Childrens Health Foundation.
After a 2 year hiatus we are back doing what we do best raising money for critical lifesaving equipment for our National Childrens Hospitals in Crumlin, Temple Street and Tallaght.
This year we are cycling from Malahide to Sligo from the 9th to 12th June 2022.
Now more than ever, the Childrens hospitals need our support for critical medical devices and equipment that help save lives.
This year we are hoping to raise €60,000 to fund the purchase two Fabian Evolution machines and a Dantec Clavis EMG/Stim device.
As always 100% of all funds raised will go towards the purchase of the equipment.
Thanks for any support you can make towards our goal. No matter how small it will go towards making a big difference.
The Fabian Evolution machines support the escalation of respiratory management and will reduce the transfer of patients to ICU by locating these on the actual wards.

The Dantec Clavis EMG/Stim device is a portable ultrasound machine and electrical stimulator to optimise intramuscular botulinum toxin injections for use in children with Neurodisability due to Cerebral Palsy or acquired brain injury. This machine will offer sufficient image quality to optimize treatment and accurately identify fine-bore needles on screen which means decreased discomfort for the children receiving the injections.

Thank you as always for your amazing support
