The Medicine Fund supports a range of medical services across Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals, including Palliative Care, Accident & Emergency, Gastroenterology, General Medicine, Pathology, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy, Clinical Haematology and Anticoagulant Services.

Charitable donations help fund equipment, service improvements and projects that enhance patient care and wellbeing across these services.

The fund supports enhancements beyond NHS funding, helping teams invest in resources and initiatives that improve patient experiences, care environments and outcomes.
