The Patient Wish Fund is our general fund, supporting projects and initiatives across Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals that enhance patient care, comfort and wellbeing.

Its flexible nature allows us to respond to the needs of patients and services wherever support is needed most, providing enhancements beyond NHS funding.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the fund has helped provide activity boxes and patient activities across our wards, resources through the Happiness Programme, family beds for relatives staying with loved ones, bereavement support initiatives, comfortable patient chairs and community outreach projects.

By supporting a wide range of services and departments, the fund helps us make a meaningful difference to patients and families across our hospitals.

Every donation and fundraising effort helps us continue to enhance the patient experience.
