Story
A single day human propelled journey from the highest Munro in Tayside (Ben Lawers) to the banks of the Tay in Dundee with support team. The journey will be in 5 Legs involving 3 disciplines; running, road cycling and canyoning. A core group of Team Members will complete the entire journey.
Leg 1: Hill Running: Ben Lawers visitors car park to Lawers village via Beinn Ghlas, Ben Lawers, An Stuc, Meall Garbh and Meall Greig. (16km, 1330 metres of ascent).
Leg 2: Road Cycling: Lawers village to Craighall Gorge, Blairgowrie via Weem, Aberfeldy TMR BASE, Logierait, Pitlochry, Moulin Moor, Kirkmichael, Bridge of Cally. (88km)
Leg 3: Canyoning: Descent of Craighall Gorge (2km)
Leg 4: Road Cycling: Craighall Bridge to Balfield Road, Dundee. This Leg incorporates a visit to Blairgowrie TMR BASE and terminates at Dundee TMR BASE. Route via Blairgowrie, Rosemount House, A923 Coupar Angus to Dundee. (34km)
Leg 5: Running with MR Stretcher: urban and hill run from Dundee TMR BASE over Dundee Law and descending to finish at V&A/Discovery Point. Run to be completed by a team carrying our new harnessed MR Stretcher bearing Hamish, our mascot (5km)
