Radio Lollipop Bristol Volunteers and Supporters are taking part in the Bristol Broadmead BID: Tour of Broadmead on Monday 2nd August 2021.

The team will by cycling the same distance as one of the Tour of Britain stages on two static bikes, which will be located in the Broadmead shopping district of Bristol.

Radio Lollipop Bristol provides care, comfort, play and entertainment to children and young people at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. We have a dedicated team of Volunteers who provide a two hour service of friendly fun-packed entertainment and live radio shows which are broadcast from our purpose built studio based in the Activities Centre in the Hospital.

Fundraising during the Covid 19 pandemic has been challenging and we are participating in this event to raise funds so the Bristol team can continue to provide smiles and laughter to children at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.

Monies raised will help Radio Lollipop Bristol to purchase arts and crafts materials for use on the wards and to make up activity packs, games, toys, books, sensory equipment and studio equipment.
