Each year Friends of the Cancer Centre funds life saving and life changing projects which make a real and positive difference to thousands of cancer patients and their families. The charity relies on donations from the public to be able to support these patients locally and across Northern Ireland.

Story

No need to trek, contribute from where you sit!!!

As promised at our recent meeting, an invitation to ensure that, whilst we may miss our get together at Christmas, we can all support our chosen charity (Friends of the Cancer Centres Haematology Unit).

Several of our fitter Brethren are yomping up and down Slieve Donard and other peaks, either this coming Saturday or the next. This charge will be led by Philip f Cross, Mathew f Tindal and friends; all at social distances.

By taking on this trekking challenge, we will be raising money to support local families, facing the daily challenge that a cancer diagnosis can bring. We are most grateful for your support in helping make a difference to patients attending the haematology unit at Belfast City Hospital for cancer treatment.
