Tuesday's Child's Following Yonder Star Appeal is journeying to bring gifts to little children exhausted by war and extreme hardship. Monies go to parties and gifts for children as well as helping with essentials most of us take for granted.

This year the Appeal is raising funds to bring gifts and essentials to children in: Ukraine, Gaza, Syria, Kenya, Brazil, Uganda, Ghana, Sudan and India. The Christmas Appeal also hopes to help boat refugees. All donations received will be shared among missionary partner projects who make even a little go a long way.

Let us also pray through the intercession of Mary and Joseph to the Infant Child in the manger, the Prince of Peace, for the gift of peace for every child in our war-torn world. May His Morning Star light and guide humanity. May the Holy Family of Nazareth who were themselves refugees and faced, at times, impossible journeys for survival, bless all people who are have had to flee modern day Herods of war and persecution.

May the Baby Jesus bless our world and turn hate to love, sadness to joy and war to everlasting peace. Let us also remember all His workers in the vineyard, who bring His love to little children and wish them Happy Christmas and a brighter 2023.
