Story
Our NHS needs you now, more than ever.
In these uncertain times, our NHS is under immense pressure and needs you more than ever.
We are in urgent need of your help to support our staff currently caring for patients with the coronavirus and vulnerable, high risk groups. Our fantastic NHS staff are putting themselves on the frontline, in the knowledge that they themselves are at risk from the virus.
They face this risk, not just because it is their job, but more importantly because they care; all their training and years of experience will be brought to bear to tackle this health crisis, but they in turn need our help.
Can you support our appeal to raise funds to provide things that in normal times we would take for granted?
Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity want to be able to support each and every ward, clinic, minor injuries unit and accident and emergency centre with whatever they need.
Whether that is thermometers, new pillows for patients, tea and biscuits for the staff when they manage to get a break or support for staff who cannot get home and are worried about their own families and children whilst treating others.
Our NHS needs you now, more than ever.
We realise that the country is in a difficult place at the moment and for many people the future of their business and their job is uncertain. But anything that you are able to give to help will make a huge difference to our NHS staff as they face the greatest test of their working lives.
Donations are so important to our patients as they help contribute to buying equipment that not only will save lives but will make the experience the patient has in our hospitals one this is positive and safe.
By donating what you can today, or by committing to giving on a regular basis, you can help us to continue some of our essential hospital and patient support.
We cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for us and with us, and we appreciate your support so much at this very uncertain time.
