We all have gone through some very difficult times since March 2020, under the grip of Coronavirus, so you understand the pain and suffering caused. The difficulty now faced by people of Tamil Nadu in the Indian sub-continent is much worse. Tamil Nadu reported the country's highest number of new cases in May 2021. The situation in Tamil Nadu is worrying after the impact of second wave of infections.

We are regularly hearing of an unnecessary loss of life in India. The pain is that much worse and gripping when we learn their loss could have been avoided if the hospitals had basic such as beds, Oxygen and essential medicine.

The situation is intense as they move through the peak of daily new cases and deaths, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has reached out to all Tamils living around the world to help, save as many lives as they can. In response, a group of Tamil organisations have joined hands to collectively gather funds from kind hearts like yourself so that we can raise the funding needed by the nation to empower them to save and sustain lives.
