Visit the charity's profileThe Virtual GT5K will return this September. We want to keep our workforces healthy and running and we hope you will all be able to join us this year, wherever you are in Ireland or the world.
This year were asking you to #DoItForDementia as the registration fee will be split between The Alzheimer Society of Ireland and supporting up and coming athletes.
Run your best 5K at any point on Wednesday 8 September and register your time. Watch the leaderboard to see how your team is getting on! GT5K 2021 invites corporate teams, family teams, sports club teams or the individual runner to take part, compete and do if for dementia.
In a year where all charities have struggled we are delighted to continue to support The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, in advocating, empowering and championing the rights of people living with dementia and their communities. The event also supports the development of young athletes with Athletics Irelands junior high performance programme, enabling them to reach their full potential.
Entry to this event is 10 + booking fee which will include your t-shirt and charity donation.
Make sure to sign up by July 30th to ensure you have your GT5K t-shirt delivered and ready for race day.

Choose to run as an individual, create a team for your company, or join an existing team.
A team entry is for 4 runners. Teams can be entered in one of 3 categories, male, female or mixed.
Submit your time via Eventmaster on September 8th. Further details will be emailed to all participants with instructions of how to submit a time in advance of race week.
Your 5k time must be submitted by 12 midnight on September 8th
Once verified, your time will appear on the leaderboard.
