Worthing Food Foundation began as a mutual aid food bank during the first Covid lockdown. We provide food and other household essentials to our neighbours experiencing food insecurity. As well as the Worthing Food Foundation self-referral food bank and our uniform exchange, we recently took over running the Worthing Vegan Food Bank.

Official figures show that more than 12,000 people in Worthing alone go hungry, skip meals or don't have access to enough healthy food - that's 10% of the population. We spend more than £11,000 every month to ensure a consistent supply of healthy food to the growing numbers of people needing emergency food.

Martin, one of our amazing volunteers, is doing a sponsored haircut and shaving off all his signature locks in aid of Worthing Food Foundation.
