Story

Mental Health Awareness Week is a chance for all of us to be more open about mental health, to talk, to listen, and to support each other.

One in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem in any given year. Demand for our services continues to rise as we experience the ongoing impact of the pandemic, cost of living crisis and global events.

We want everyone in our community in West Kent to feel comfortable talking about mental health whenever they like. Talking about mental health reduces stigma, helping to create supportive communities where we can talk openly about mental health and feel empowered to seek help when we need it.

By wearing blue this Mental Health Awareness Week, you are helping us to raise awareness in our community, and through your generous donations you are helping to support our vital services supporting local people experiencing mental health problems to get well, stay well and thrive.

Thank you!
