We are raising money for Home-Start Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre.

Home-Start support local families, as a team they aim to increase the confidence, capacity and independence of families by offering non judgemental, emotional and practical support to parents and their children - at a time when they need it the most.

At the heart of Home-Start's work is a local community network of trained volunteers and expert support helping families with young children.

Families can struggle with post-natal depression, isolation, physical health problems, bereavement and many other issues and through the support of a volunteer, Home-Start support them in so many ways.

Being a parent is a joyful but sometimes overwhelming time and it becomes even harder when you are facing additional challenges.

A child's earliest years are irreplaceable. Without a stable, loving and nurturing environment a child will not develop the foundations they need. The earliest years make the biggest impact.

Home-Start makes sure those years count so that no child's future is limited.
