Story

Remembering a loved one through in memory donations is a wonderful way to honour someone special during a difficult time. We're grateful for your gift and the difference it will make to the wellbeing of older and vulnerable dog lovers in our communities.

Wag & Company is the only visiting dog charity to befriend older dog lovers in their own homes as well as in care and medical establishments. Everyone we visit misses their own dogs, but for health reasons they can no longer look after one. It costs over £400 a year to fund a Visiting Wag Team; a professionally assessed volunteer and their special Friendship Dog. We never charge so that no-one misses out, instead we rely on support from North East people, grant bodies and organisations.

You can choose to give a one-off gift or create a tribute page dedicated to your loved one. When you create a page, you'll be able to collect donations from friends and family, as well as sharing your loved one's story.

Creating a page is simple; just click on the Start Fundraising button and follow the steps to create your lasting tribute to someone very special.
