Story
Elmbridge is considered a wealthy area, yet almost 4,000 children in our borough live in poverty. Even more shocking, 75% of children in low-income households are from working families.
Soaring food and fuel prices, combined with exceptionally high local housing costs, mean families across Elmbridge are forced to make impossible decisions, and many are struggling to feed their children.
We urgently need your support to help local families stay afloat through this cost-of-living crisis.
For every £1 you donate, both Walton Charity and Elmbridge Borough Council will match it £1 for £1.
Working with our local schools, we can get support to the families in our area who need it most. The proceeds of the appeal will be allocated to 10 local schools who hold Walton Charity’s Opportunities Funds.
