After being found as a stray on the streets, Winnie remained unclaimed by her owner. She was transported by us from the pound on Christmas Eve and is now safe and being cared for in rescue in Northants.

Winnie needs vet treatment. She has a number of issues that need exploring and fixing where possible, including a large tumour on her tail, bald patches up her back, very greasy skin, infected ears, infected eye, suspicious hanging folds of mottled skin under her tummy and she seems lame in her front leg. She is seeing the vet on Monday 28th for a thorough examination and for bloods to be taken.

We want to keep our promise to Winnie and make sure that all her needs are met and that she is comfortable and well and you know as we do that the treatment she may need won't be cheap - so we are doing all we can to support Winnie and the lovely Annie at Animals in Need as we are sooooooooo grateful to her for taking Winnie in when she did and helping us sleep soundly at night, knowing she was safe and being cared for!

FFH was set up to help dogs in need and when we first saw Winnie at our vets where she had been taken when found, we promised her that whatever happened we would do our best to see her safe, cared for and in better health - please can you help us to make that happen by donating to her fund? Every single penny that we get through Just Giving will be used as a priority for Winnie, and any money left over will then be used for other vet bills at AIN.
