We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Every year, Mike organizes the Wirral Kayak Challenge to raise money for local charities and we are honoured to have been chosen. Teenage Cancer Trust are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. The charity fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

We are lucky on Merseyside that Teenage Cancer Trust provides two units for teenagers and young adults. At Alder Hey Childrens Hospital there is a unit for 13-19 year olds, and at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre theres a unit for 16-24 year olds.
