YMCA Lincolnshire support some of the most vulnerable people in our community, who, like many of us have been affected by the Coronavirus in varying degrees. It is vital we can carry on delivering projects and support to our beneficiaries but we can only do this with you help.
We have always tried to maintain a diverse range of income streams to help us mitigate for all circumstances, however income from our conference centre and cafe has declined, people are not visiting our charity shops, our activity and climbing centre have also been severely impacted.
We also rely on food donations every day to provide meals to those who access our accommodation. As people have been trying to ensure their cupboards are full in recent weeks and supermarket shelves become increasingly sparse, we have seen a rapid decline in our food donations. This has meant we have needed to purchase certain food and drink items to ensure we can provide meals to those most in need.
The impact of all of the above is quickly going to deplete the money we have available to keep the charity running at full speed, we know that many people are struggling and worried about the future but if you can spare any donation at all, no matter how small, we would very much appreciate your support.
