What has lockdown meant for you? We have heard lots of different stories, from the frustration of social distancing to the unexpected bonus of a bit more family time, from the uncertainty of secure income to the realisation of just how important seeing wider family and friends can be. One of the unexpected things we have heard is that enforced lockdown lifestyle has meant saving a bit of money or, for some folk, quite a lot! Unexpected economising from not meeting pals for meals out, or drinks down the pub, to saving on that daily takeaway latte. Kindred has offered free support to families of children with disabilities, lifelong and terminal conditions for over 30 years. In that time the parents and children we've worked with have faced many difficulties and challenges but being in lockdown during a pandemic wasn't one of them.
