Will you be victorious on the Lagan?

Take your greatest team to the water to compete to become Dragon Boat racing champions- and help save lives!

This exciting corporate team building event will see 10 teams race against each other in a time trial (10 in a morning session, 10 in an afternoon session) in authentic dragon boats along the River Lagan, Belfast, with music and food provided.

Each boat holds up to 18 people (12 people minimum) taking to the water to battle it out for the best time while raising vital funds to sustain the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS). Registration costs £550 per team which covers the cost of the event management company who will ensure the health and safety of all participants on the water.  Each team is encouraged to raise a minimum of £1500 to help Air Ambulance NI continue to provide critical pre-hospital care.  

There’ll be a DJ for the duration of the event, food provided, props for the all-important team photos, trophies up for grabs and lots of fun and competitive games with spot prizes when you’re not on the water.

Time trial – each team has two-timed trials to determine qualifiers for the final. All skill levels and physiques can paddle, making it the ultimate team building sport or fun day out! All safety elements are covered with each Dragon boat having at the helm your qualified instructor.

Time: Your company can choose to take part in a morning session (from 9.30am-1pm) or an afternoon session (2pm-5.30pm).

Cost: £550 per team

No. of participants in boat: 12-18 ppl

Suggested fundraising target: £1500
