Story

The May bank holiday weekend is normally hugely busy and exciting in Drogheda as an annual road race takes over the streets. The music, the hype and the buzz were all really missed last year.

This year they are going virtual for the race. Although they can't recreate it in it's entirety, there is scope to run your own virtual 10k wherever you might be.

Acquired Brain Injury is asking you to sign up for this event and to fundraise and support brain injury survivors while taking part. The funds you raise will go directly to supporting Acquired Brain Injury Ireland's Community and Residential services in Louth.

Training and running your 10k will not only be good for your physical and mental health but will benefit brain injury survivors as you raise funds for Acquired Brain Injury Ireland.

You'll also be joining a great supporter and brain injury survivor Jordan Foster who is a Race Ambassador and taking part to support Acquired Brain Injury Ireland.

Approximately 150,000 people in Ireland are living with a brain injury today.

You can help rebuild lives after brain injury.

Empowering people to live to their full potential. That's what Acquired Brian Injury Ireland can do with your support.
