Story

Help Transform Lives with Ability Dogs 4 Young People šŸ’ššŸ¾

At Ability Dogs 4 Young People, we believe every person deserves support and independence to lead fulfilling lives. Our mission is simple but powerful: to train and match incredible dogs with disabled people, transforming their lives with the support, confidence, and emotional connection that only a dedicated Ability Dog can provide.

Why Our Work Matters

From helping with mobility to offering emotional support, our Ability Dogs make a world of difference. Every dog is trained to meet the specific individual needs of their Recipient, whether itā€™s a young person navigating the challenges of daily life or developing confidence and reassurance to increase independence and develop social connections.

But training these life-changing dogs is a costly and long-term commitment. That's where YOU come in.

These dogs donā€™t just change livesā€”they make the impossible possible.

ā€“ Carol Court, Founder of Ability Dogs 4 Young People

Meet Willson

Willsonā€™s journey is a perfect example of the impact our work has. Recently featured on the BBC One Show, Willson is on a mission to showcase just how much our Ability Dogs can do for those in need. Willsonā€™s story continues now he is back home and back to the fun of training to be a lifeline for someone with a disability.

Willsonā€™s training will help him make a profound difference in someoneā€™s life. Thanks to your support, we can continue this vital work.

What Your Donation Will Do

Every donation, big or small, makes a direct impact on the lives of those we serve. Here's what your generosity helps us achieve:

Ā£10 provides a puppy collar, setting the foundation for a life-changing partnership.

Ā£50 covers the cost of food for an Ability Dog for a month.

Ā£200 helps cover the cost of specialised equipment to ensure the Ability Dog meets the recipientā€™s unique needs.

Every pound you donate helps us provide the tools, training, and support enabling our Ability Dogs to continue transforming lives.

"My Ability Dog helps me to do things I would never have normally been able to do...and she gives the best cuddles too!" ā€“ Recipient of an Ability Dog
