Story
On 26th April, Tiana is taking on an incredible challenge; running the full marathon distance right in the heart of Barking Park, so the whole community can be part of the journey. 🏃♀️🎉
Last year, after missing out on a marathon ballot place, Tiana didn’t give up. Instead, she completed the full marathon distance in Barking Park anyway — a huge personal achievement driven by determination and belief. This year, that solo effort has grown into something even bigger: a community-powered team challenge.
Rather than running alone, Tiana will be joined throughout the day by Ab Phab staff, trustees, members, families, and supporters, all welcome to walk, jog, or run alongside her. There’s no pressure and no set pace — just people coming together, moving together, and supporting one shared goal.
Together, we’re raising vital funds for Ab Phab Youth Club, helping us continue to provide safe, inclusive, and inspiring activities for disabled young people. Your support helps fund sessions such as sports, cooking, gardening, and creative projects like graffiti and clay modelling — activities that build confidence, friendships, and independence.
To keep spirits high, we’ll also be hosting an Ab Phab Sports Day in Barking Park from 12-4pm, creating a lively, supportive atmosphere full of encouragement, fun, and community pride from start to finish.
If you’re able to donate, every contribution, big or small, will help turn Tiana’s miles into real opportunities for disabled young people and their families. Thank you for supporting Ab Phab. 💙
