ACAA was established in 2001 by Dr. Nooralhaq Nasimi, who left Afghanistan as a refugee with his young family in 1999 and made the UK his home. The ACAA promotes integration and wellbeing of refugees in the UK, in addition to running humanitarian and human rights projects in Afghanistan itself.

Story

This Ramadan, we invite you to join us in a mission of compassion and solidarity with the people of Afghanistan. As we enter the Holy month of Ramadan, a time of reflection, prayer, and community, the importance of giving and sharing with those less fortunate takes on a special significance. This holy month encourages us to practise generosity and empathy, embodying the true spirit of Ramadan.

The Afghanistan and Central Asian Association (ACAA), a leading organisation dedicated to supporting Afghan refugees and promoting human rights, is launching a Ramadan Appeal. Together, we aim to provide essential support to families inside Afghanistan, ensuring they have everything they need to observe Ramadan with dignity and peace.

Our Ramadan Appeal includes the following carefully curated packages, designed to meet the diverse needs of families during this sacred month. Here are the ways you can make an impact:
