Story

7th May 2024 - Update

We are delighted to announce that Annie successfully ascended to the top of Glastonbury Tor. Well done Annie !!! Annie completes the AAA challenge with help from some incredible friends and Glastonbury Firefighters.

Quote from Annie...

"I had the most amazing experience of being up there, which is an extraordinary, unique place.

The team of about 20 Devon and Somerset firefighters took it in turns to push and pull me with ropes up the path which was 260 steps and almost perpendicular in places.

I was quite fearful beforehand, but actually on the day I was not frightened at all because the firefighters are the most unpanicked people you could ever meet.”

We would like take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all those who donated, we shall be sending donations to Humanity and Inclusion and Motivation very soon, see further details below.
