In the coming months, ACCORD will introduce a new service to the community that will take the essence of hospice care out to people in their own homes.

The service will be known as ACCORD@Home and will focus on 3 things.

- Helping discharge people home from the Hospice who wish to spend the end of their life at home.

- Helping people in crisis stay at home rather than have to go to hospital or hospice when they would rather not.

- Providing hospice care at home to those in the last days of life.

Supporting people who would prefer to spend the end of their life, and die, at home.

This new service will expand ACCORDs ability to offer a wider range of support directly to patients in their own homes. This is important because many patients would prefer to receive the specialist care ACCORD offers within their own homes. This new development will make that option more commonly and widely available.

As a charity, we can't provide our expert care to Renfrewshire and parts of East Renfrewshire without the amazing support of our wonderful community/ Through your kind donation - big or small - you can help more local patients to be cared for at home at the end of their lives.
