Story
2026 is the 20th anniversary of Autistic Children and Carers Together (ACCT) and the Team ACCT runners taking on the Sheffield Half Marathon would love your support to help autistic young people and their families in Sheffield by keeping ACCT going strong for another 20 years!
ACCT was established in 2006 by a group of parent-carers of autistic children, responding to the lack of activity groups accessible to autistic young people.
Since then, we have continued to organise a wide range of fun and accessible activities each week for autistic young people who cannot access mainstream clubs, along with parent-carer support and activities for the whole family.
Your donation will directly help autistic young people and their families in Sheffield by helping us to offer:
- Acctivate Children's Club and Teenage Club multi-activity sessions
- ACCT Academy autism-friendly football coaching
- ACCT Gaming Clubs including Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop games.
- InterACCT teenage drama group
- ACCTing Out young adults social group
- Parent-carer support meetings
- Autism-friendly family swimming and other family trips.
With more than 600 people accessing ACCT services each year, your donation really helps make a positive difference to the lives of autistic young people and their families. Thank you!
