On Friday 3rd January, Ace Centre lost a much-valued colleague and friend, Alli Gaskin. Alli's work with Ace Centre and other organisations over more than 20 years helped support many individuals living with complex communication difficulties, enabling them to connect more fully with the world and empowering them to live their own lives. She brought a wonderful energy and spirit to everyone she worked with at Ace Centre and beyond and left many with memories to last a lifetime.

The cancer care she received at Christie’s during her final months of treatment was particularly supportive and comforting and it is in this spirit that the staff at Ace Centre will be taking part in the Night of Neon 5k on Saturday 8th February to raise awareness and funds for this vital charity and the work they do. Ace Centre’s team will be walking and dancing their way around the course, all whilst wearing an array of bright, colourful and sparkly (particular favourites of Alli's!) outfits, through the dark.

Your support will help others to get the same level of comfort and care that Alli received and ensure that this service continues to provide for those who need it.

All funds raised, including gift aid, will be remitted to The Christie Charity in full.
