Story
This August, Act4Africa proudly celebrates 25 years of service, impact, and transformation across the African continent. Since our founding in 2000, we have remained committed to the fight against HIV and AIDS, expanding our mission to address the root causes of poverty and inequality, particularly for women and children.
Over the years, Act4Africa has carried out life-changing work in several African countries, including Malawi and Tanzania. Today, our operations are fully focused in Uganda, where we continue to lead community-centered projects aimed at empowering girls, educating children, and transforming mindsets in the Eastern region (Mayuge District.)
One of our proudest achievements is the establishment of Kathy’s Kindergarten in 2018, named in memory of one of our visionary co-founders. Since then, the school has provided quality early childhood education to over 200 pupils, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and growth.
As we mark this milestone, we reflect not just on how far we’ve come but on how much more needs to be done. Your support matters now more than ever. Whether big or small, your donation helps us reach more lives, spread awareness, and build stronger, healthier communities.
