WHAT WE DO

At AAA we help victims of domestic abuse obtain life saving injunctions, called Non Molestation Orders that will keep them and their children free from abuse. These Orders act like Restraining Orders and stop families from having to flee to a refuge or emergency accommodation, which will always be away from their community for safety and criminal procedures can often take up to 18 months to get to court, with little chance of conviction. With an Order in place, families can stay in their homes, victims can stay in their jobs and children can stay in their schools. These life saving Orders put the onus on the perpetrator to change their behaviour and give the victims back control over their lives.

AAA does not means test, we will help anyone needing an injunction within days. Solicitors often have to wait up to 2 months for legal aid to come through, but we will start work immediately, completely free of charge, often obtaining an Order and changing lives within a week.

Every week 2.5 women are killed by their partners or ex partners, 3 women kill themselves and every day 30 women attempt suicide as a direct result of domestic abuse. Every 30 seconds there is a call to police about domestic abuse and 20% of all calls to police are in relation to domestic abuse. This is an epidemic.

Our team has applied for and obtained over 400 Non Molestation Orders over the last 5 years with 100% success rate.
