Story
On Sunday 4th October 2020, this amazing team of Action Against Hunger runners will be taking on the London Marathon's virtual race. They'll be running 26.2 miles on the course of their choice, anywhere in the world. Without the cheers of London's crowds to keep them going, they'll need your support more than ever.
The team is running to help fund the fight against hunger, a fight which is more urgent than ever as coronavirus threatens the world's most vulnerable communities. Watch this video to see the how your donation can support our vital work in this fight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBw6KxcQ6FM
We're well placed to respond, but we cannot do it alone. That's why, together, the team hopes to raise £1,140 for Action Against Hunger's life-saving work. To put it into context, this amount could:
- provide the emergency medical kits needed right now for more than 1,000 people in crisis, or
- buy chlorine tablets to allow more than 8,600 people to drink clean water during the pandemic, or
- save the lives of 27 children suffering from deadly hunger.
With your help, every step around their race courses can be a step towards a world free from hunger. Thank you for your support.
